ATC's as promised :)
Hi all,
Well since I've been feeling a bit down & mojoless this week I thought I would post some ATC's that I have started doing. These three I've made since Hero Arts had them as a challenge two weeks ago. I really like making them & can see why people are so addicted to them. I would also like to give a Huge thankyou to my wonderful friend Arlene for sending me the info on what you put on the backs of these ATCs. Arlene's blog is here & her flickrstream is here so if you get a chance you should check out some of her ATCs.
Hero Art Owl is from Lucy who was kind enough to stamp up some images & send them to me earlier this year. I have wanted to do something with this cute little guy ever since I got him :). I kept this one fairly simple by just adding a scrap of Basic Grey paper from the porcelain series onto Black Cardstock.
Celebrate Owl is actually from a free digi kit called Indie Pops on the Two Peas website. All I did was to cut the image down to fit. I then added Kindy Glitz & Diamond Glaze for a little sparkle.
Butterfly Screen is basically a test ATC. I tried out a few new techniques for me. I did the emboss resist & then used my distress inks on a craft mat & added water to smooch the ATC in. I also experimented with my new alcohol inks on the flowers.
Well thank you for popping in & your wonderful comments. Have a great week ahead & TTFN

Oh wow, these are just beautiful Paula!! Love the bird on the tree vine with the moon drop in the back...so pretty!
So pretty, Paula! Love the soft colours you used!
Hugs,
Vanessa
These are really sweet Paula! My Mojo has been on the blink a bit over the last few days. Hopefully this is just a temporary situation - perhaps I need to try some ATC's too? I had to spend today studying which felt a big fat waste of some good card making time!!! Hugs to you and yours, Jo x
Paula - they are very good. Love the little owl and how you skewered the layer, very effective. Love the butterfly background. I did the same thing with one of my bookmarks. It is a a great technique (even if I did have to go back to Jennifers videos to check on how to do it!) ATC's are a great thing to do when the Mojo is gone - and good to try new techniques. BTW aren't Arlene's ATC's just amazing!!!
HI Paula..I love the whole lot...each one is so unique! Love the inking techniques too :)
Hugs,Kathy
