Try Stampin' On Tuesday sketch 95

Hi Lovelies,

Here is my very first card as a DT member of Try Stampin' On Tuesday & the sketch it's based on.

Here is my card based on this sketch.  I used Distress ink to stamp the tree, before colouring it in with a Prismacolor pencil.  I then used Baby oil to even out the colouring.  Stickles where added to the tree for some sparkle.  I stamped the sentiment with Versafine & added Baker's Twine.  The pattern paper is Just Believe by Kaisercraft.   Thank you for stopping by today & I hope I have inspired you to play along with us over at Try Stampin' On Tuesdays this week.

Supplies:
Hero Arts - K4797 Flourish Tree with Stars
Distress Inks - Shabby Shutters & Walnut Stain
Versafine Ink - Vintage Sepia
Stickles - Platinum
Bakers' Twine
White Copic paper'
Just Believe 6 x 6 pad by Kaisercraft
Kaisercraft clear stamp CS926 Christmas

Welcome aboard Paula. Love the vintage feel of this card. Love the effect that the Prismacolour Pencils made. I have these and have tried to use them with baby oil. Great job.

I love how you combined patterns and the offset to the Christmas tree. I too like the effect of the pencils.
Welcome to the team!

Hmmm, never heard of the baby oil thing. I certainly works though--your card is stunning. Love the feel of it, kind of vintage and I love the white space--hard for me to do but love the look! Welcome to the team I am excited to work with you.
