Did you have a great New Year's Eve? It was pretty quiet here up until the "crazies" next door decided to have their own fireworks display in the paddock below us. Luckily there where no fires (it's extremely dry at the moment) or injuries that we know of.
I've been busy & it feels like forever since I've done anything creative (my DT cards where done before Christmas). I have been busy making another Christmas organiser & today I managed to make a card.
I used this sketch from Retro Sketches, & the theme "Anything goes - Something sweet" from Red Carpet Studio. This is a small card it's about 4" x 4". I am a very lucky crafter as the gorgeous Alice sent me a stunning card & some Washi Tape & pps. So I bit the bullet today & attempted to use the Washi Tape. If you look really carefully you can see it behind the ribbons, buttons & pp. I coloured the icing on the cupcake to match the tape. I am pleased with the result. I found the cute button in one of my 3 (yes 3) jars of buttons. It had a shank on it & used my wire cutters (from my Zutter Bind-it All) to cut it off. I then found the ribbons in my stash & decided to just loop them behind the button instead of doing bows like I normally do. I rounded two of the corners with my corner punch. I had to put the sentiment at the top because I found this stamped image in amongst some of my paper scraps.
Thanks for stopping by & don't forget to pop back tomorrow to see my DT card for Try Stampin' on Tuesday. Hope your New Year is as wonderful as you are - Happy crafting Lovelies xoxoxo
