Smile Cupcake

Hi Lovelies,

Today I have a card for Sunday Sketch & Stamp latest challenge.  For me this is a new blog, I discovered it whilst commenting on blogs for TSOT.  One of the perks of "the job" ;o).

I stuck to the sketch & decided to use up some of my 6.5" Botanical Odyssey paper pad.  I paper pieced the cupcake with the same pp.  I added stickles to the icing & coloured the flame in with Copics.  The sentiment was from the paper pad.  I really like the dotted paper it reminded me of birthdays for some reason.

This next card I've made for the latest Die Cut Diva's challenge here.  I was lucky enough to receive a beautiful Christmas card & some stamped images from Arlene.  I really wanted to use them as they aren't normally what I work with.  I can't do vintage to save my life :(.  Then I had a "light bulb moment" (love those).  My sister is currently in Switzerland & has also gone to France & England, amongst other places.  She went just before Christmas & arrives home in another few weeks.  So this map that Arlene sent me, paired up with some pp that Alice sent to me turned into this card.  I used last week's Mojo Monday sketch as my starting point.  I'm going to send this to my sister when she gets home & then she can send it to her friends if she wants to.

Well I'm off to do some DT work.  Happy crafting my friends & have a great day.

Fabulous cards Paula. I love the one with the map. Great colours and use of the map. And an adorable cup cake card,

What fun cards, Paula! The cupcake is a funtastic use of papers and I think you've got a bit of vintage in those fingers, as indicated by that second one. You've been so busy!
